Elsie Joan (Clark) Williamson passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Fort Worth. She was 85 years old. Elsie was born Jan. 19, 1940, in Wickenburg, Arizona, to Glenn and Dorothy (Hanson) Clark.

A visitation was held from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, April 10 at Bible Baptist Church. A funeral service followed at 10 a.m. Interment was at Post Oak Cemetery.

Elsie married Richard D. Williamson Nov. 29, 1958, in Highlands. Together, they made their home in Azle where they raised their children Rick and Andrea. She was a member of Ash Creek Baptist Church in Azle and Beta Sigma Phi, Eta Alpha Chapter. She and Richard loved to spend time in their motorhome, traveling the United States with family and friends. Above all, Elsie felt her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to her children. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Andrea Lee (Williamson) Mayen, and brother James Clark.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Richard Williamson; son, Rick Williamson; son-in-law, Rudy Mayen; along with numerous extended family and friends.
