Lily Hudman is one of several Azle High School journalism students participating in a practicum course with The Azle News as part of the AHS Career and Technical Education program.

To allow them to gain real-world experience, Azle High School has a program that allows students to get internships and jobs in areas around Azle — on-the-job training, essentially. This program, known as practicum, includes agriculture and natural resources.

Seniors Aspen Castaneda, Jocelyn Olund, Shaylinn Vickers and Desirae Cedillo volunteer at the Fort Worth Nature Center, Eagle Mountain Vet Clinic, Tractor Supply and Walnut Creek Vet Hospital, respectively.
