SPRINGTOWN — The Springtown Area Senior Center fell victim to severe storm damage in the early morning hours on March 4, 2025. Gusts of winds as strong as 70mph blew through Parker County, resulting in roof damage, trees blown over and significant property damage. The overhang, located in the front of the center, flew into some nearby trees and a brick wall located on the east side of the center completely collapsed.

The parts of the metal roof were also found in nearby trees.
