Springtown Epigraph, Azle News are coming back

Bryson and Ashley Burtnett of Springtown have purchased the Tri-County Reporter and begun transitioning it back to the two newspapers that have historically served the communities of Springtown and Azle — The Azle News and The Springtown Epigraph.

Over the next few weeks, as you continue to read the Tri-County Reporter, watch for information as details about upcoming changes are finalized.

“We are overjoyed to tell readers the communities of Azle and Springtown are getting THEIR newspapers back,” said Bryson Burtnett. “The goal is for this to become more than two newspapers; we want this to be a multifaceted media company that extends beyond print publications to social media, internet and video production.

“What I really want people to know is that we purchased these newspapers as part of our ministry and we intend for it to become part of our testimony,” Burtnett continued. “Our hope is that through everyday news reporting, we reflect the good news of Jesus Christ in the ordinary lives of the people in the communities we serve.”

Watch for additional information as the Burtnetts outline in more detail plans for the papers in the coming issues.
