AZLE — Victoria Ann Derr, daughter of Samantha and John Derr Sr. of Fort Worth, married Seth Benjamin Ortega, son of Vera Deleon Ortega, Feb. 15, 2025. The ceremony took place in the beautiful Garden Room, followed by a reception in the historic 1910 Ballroom of the Price Center in Downtown San Marcos.
Davion Enders-Jones, a long-time friend of the couple, officiated the ceremony, with family and friends in attendance.
The bride was supported by her sisters, Christina and Katherine Derr, as matrons of honor, with bridesmaids Krystal Carrasquillo, Ciaradh Twomey, Caroline Sony and Kacie Sparkman, all of whom are best friends of the bride. The groom’s childhood best friend, Ryan LaBerge, served as best man, while Samuel and Elijah Ortega, the groom’s brothers, along with Cameron Curry, his cousin, and childhood friend James Norwood rounded out the groomsmen.
The couple met in 2017 while attending high school in Azle and moved to San Marcos in 2018 to build their lives together. Victoria is currently a veterinary technician, working toward entering veterinary school, while Seth is a dedicated pest control technician.
